With the Covid-19 virus repercussions vastly increasing the demand for cooking at home every day - maintaining our usual constant availability is proving difficult - but rest assured we are  working tirelessly with our Farmers to quickly replenish availability as soon is possible on a Daily basis - so you can continue to enjoy eating seasonally

No additives, drugs or growth enhancers
Fabulously fully-flavoured Bronze Turkeys only come from traditional breeds of Turkey that are naturally slow growing and enjoy the freedom of roaming in pastures, woodland or stubble fields. They must be allowed to forage freely on a natural diet with no additives, drugs or growth enhancers. 
Naturally fully matured
Only when they are naturally fully matured - and never before - can they be traditionally prepared, hand plucked and game-hung for up to 12 days - before being carefully presented to you to enjoy the ultimate in festive gourmet experiences.

We scour family-run farms with only the highest standards of stress-free husbandry for such rare birds, so we can offer you the most tender, moist, beautifully textured Bronze Turkeys with a traditional rich depth of flavour, which almost belongs to a bygone age - but which always creates such a wonderful festive and celebratory dining experience - and a memorable spectacle for that special American Thanksgiving table



Thanksgiving, or Thanksgiving Day, is a holiday celebrated in the United States and wherever Americans live, on the fourth Thursday in November.

Since 1863
It has officially been an annual tradition since 1863, when, during the Civil War, President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national day of "Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens," to be celebrated on Thursday November 26th.


 
Turkey traditionally served
Turkey was one of the dishes traditionally served on this important American celebratory day.
 
Although Turkey was the dominant meat at the dinner table, Venison was also plentiful.

Pilgrims five Deer
On record, the Pilgrims killed five Deer to divide amongst themselves. They also had Waterfowl and Fish. The dinner actually had little vegetables and lots of meat and nuts.
 
Fruits, such as Strawberries and Grapes were also plentiful because they were growing in the wild.

The President of the United States
Since 1947, the National Turkey Federation has presented the President of the United States with one live Turkey and two dressed Turkeys, in a ceremony known as the National Thanksgiving Turkey Presentation.



A one-off joke by Ronald Reagan
In a tradition that began as a one-off joke by Ronald Reagan in 1987 and made permanent by George H. W. Bush in 1989, the live Turkey is "pardoned" and lives out the rest of its days on a nearby peaceful farm.
