Free Range Beef Short Ribs

INGREDIENTS: Free Range Beef

ALLERGEN ADVICE: For Allergens, including Cereals containing Gluten, see Ingredients in Bold.
Cook thoroughly

Free Range Beef Short Ribs

Oven Bake

Season ribs with salt, pepper, onion powder, then coat in flour before browning them off in a large pan. Once brown, place ribs and meat juices into a casserole dish along with beef stock, bay leaves, herbs, cup of beef stock garlic large onion chopped and vegetables like chopped carrots celeriac etc. Cover with lid or foil remove after one hour. Cook in a low Oven Gas Mark 3, 325 Fahrenheit 170 Celsius very moderate for about 1 hour 30 mints or longer

Roast

Season with salt and pepper and roast slowly Gas Mark 4,/350 Fahrenheit 180 Celsius moderate for about 2 hours

Stew (on top of the hob)

Brown meat in a pan, add root vegetables (celeriac, onions, carrots, etc.) Add stock, wine, herbs, bay leaves and cover. Cook slowly on the hob, on a low heat until tender. Just before serving thicken with flour or corn flour.

Barbecue

Place on barbecue in roasting tin and some oil to start them off. Season and baste with Marinade (barbecue sauce) and place barbecue lid on a low heat or cover in tin foil. The art to this is slow, long cooking until tender. If the meat starts to dry, add some water or beer

Preparation/Cooking time 3 Hours 30 mins
Homemade Pasta, rich Ragù and cheesy Béchamel. Sweat Vegetables, Garlic, Herbs, leftover cooked meats, Stock or Wine and simmer - heavenly!
