Cook thoroughly

Stewing

Brown meat off and add vegetables for example root vegetables celeriac, onions, carrots, etc. Then add stock wine herbs bay leaves and cover. Cook slowly on the hob or in a braising dish in the oven on a low heat until tender. Just before serving thicken with corn flour. Stews are always better next day reheated.

Fry off in pan and make into many dishes from Shepherd’s Pie to Moussakas.

Grilling, Griddling or Barbecuing

Season mince and make into burgers or press onto skewers with your hands ready to barbecue- or brown off in frying pan, can be used for 100s of great recipes from Chilli Con Carne to Bolognese.
