Free Range T-Bone Steak

INGREDIENTS: Free Range Beef

ALLERGEN ADVICE: For Allergens, including Cereals containing Gluten, see Ingredients in Bold.
Cook thoroughly

Free Range T-Bone Steak

Fry or griddle

Preheat grill until very hot (about 500 - 550°F). Season steaks with salt and pepper, or as desired Place Steaks on preheated grill - they should sizzle. After a couple minutes, once juices begin to rise to the surface, use tongs to flip steaks over. Continue grilling Steaks to desired Remove steaks from grill onto clean plate, cover with a cloth and allow them to rest approximately 5 minutes to redistribute the juices.

Approximate times if cut 1 in or 2.5cm thick.

Blue 1-2 minutes per side 30/45°c*
Rare 2-3 minutes per side 46/50°c*
Medium Rare 2-4 minutes per side 52/55°c*
Medium 3-5 minutes per side 56/60°c*
* = Internal Temperature

If you are looking for something fun to do with Salt Beef, then you have come to the right place. This recipe is really straightforward and super satisfying. A couple of fried Eggs and you have a perfect weekend brunch. A piece of Salt Beef can go a long way, and this is a perfect little recipe for any Leftover bits. Flake it all up and hard fry it with some Potatoes and basically anything else you fancy. On this occasion, I went for Leeks, Pickled Red Onions, and Chillies. I think the fried Egg is fairly essential, I also like a little Chilli Sauce over the top - something fruity or acidic.
