The very best of Premium Quality Bacon
Our Price: £10.48

Our Tamworth Unsmoked Back Bacon - with the rind on - is from pure-bred pedigree Free-Range British Pigs.

The Tamworth Pig is prized for producing the very best of Bacon.

One of Britain’s oldest Breeds

Considered as one of Britain’s oldest Breeds, it has a lean look about it with its long Snout and long Legs making them excellent rotavators.

Reared in a stress-free, Free-Range environment

The Pigs are outdoor-reared in a stress-free, Free-Range environment - which allows them to eat the natural goodness that produces a marbling in the Meat so characteristic of this Native Breed.

Superb Quality - that sizzles!

Consequently, this gives an outstanding juiciness and taste to the Bacon. Superb Quality - that sizzles!

Traditionally Dry Cured

Traditionally Dry Cured for 21 days yielding a delicious, moreish, unsmoked, savoury, traditional rich Bacon flavour - without being overpowering

Beautifully Cured

Beautifully Cured - using time and traditional techniques - polished over the years - produces an amazing Unsmoked Back Bacon with a mouth-watering full flavour.

The best way to cook our Unsmoked Back Bacon is to leave the rind on and fry in a little oil until the rind is crispy

Thickly sliced - this is real Traditional Bacon, every Pig is different, every Rasher is different, and they do have a good proportion of fat- but the flavour is outstanding!

Fry

As Bacon has enough fat in the meat to keep it frying you only have to smear oil on the pan just to get it started. Bacon is thin and will be cooked and ready to eat after only a few minutes you will need to turn it over once so it does not curl up. After that it is up to you how you enjoy your bacon crispy or moistly tender.

Grill

Place under a hot grill till bacon starts to curl, then turn over and repeat.
