Often called the Butchers Favourite - the Free Range Rib-Eye Steak - also known as Entrecôte - is considered one of the juiciest textured - and most elegantly flavoured of Steaks.

Rib-Eye Steaks are cut from the main muscle attached to the spine - the meat that is most often used for superior roasting cuts - either Rib roasts that still have the bone attached - or deboned Rib meat roasts.

Rich marbling 
The special appeal of Free Range Rib Eye Steaks is that they are cut in such a way that the Steak is presented with rich marbling evenly across the Steak - together with a gorgeous knob of fat in the middle that gently melts and self bastes as you cook - yielding a sumptuous mouth watering tasting experience that is all of its own.

Skillfully Dry Aged 
Unquestionably, all Beef Steaks are more tender and most delicious when the whole carcass has been skillfully Dry-Aged under expertly controlled conditions. 

The pinnacle of perfection 
Our State of the Art Maturation Rooms ensure the perfect Dry-Ageing period to make these luscious Steaks ready to eat - at the pinnacle of their perfection!

Godfreys Rib-Eye Steaks have a definite dark red colour, indicating they have been expertly raised and correctly Dry-Aged. 

Beef that is pale and pinkish is usually too little aged and thus likely to be tough and lacking in flavor - this is especially true for most Steak Cuts. 

The fat on our Steaks is firm and creamy-white - rather than yellow - which is not a good sign

Godfreys Free Range Rib-Eye Steaks are finally marinated in a mixture of Herb and subtle spices to bring out the full Beef flavours - whilst enhancing the delicious crust on the outside
