Prepared from the Topside of Veal this is a very low fat, delicate and tender Cut However it really must be expertly cut from only the largest part of the muscle - and then sliced slightly across the grain in one piece - otherwise it will curl and buckle when fried

A very tender eating experience

The meat is then beaten flat using a mallet - or flat knife if cut correctly - that further breaks down the fibres in the meat - ensuring a very tender eating experience

Easy and quick to cook

Correctly prepared - Veal Escalopes are easy and quick to cook

Usually pan-fried, griddled, grilled or sauteéd.

Veal Escalopes

INGREDIENTS: Veal

ALLERGEN ADVICE: For Allergens, including Cereals containing Gluten, see Ingredients in Bold.
Cook thoroughly

Veal Escalopes

Place Escalope in flour seasoned with salt and pepper. Dip into beaten egg and then coat with breadcrumbs. To make good breadcrumbs - dry a few slices of bread in the oven at 100c, until dry, then crush in a food bag.   Finally cover the meat in olive oil and fry till golden brown.
